No, our coffee capsules are designed to be safe and compatible with Nespresso® machines. They are made from a flexible, high-quality material that is guaranteed not to melt or damage your machine, even under high pressure.

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Nespresso® machine, we recommend following the manufacturer's recommended maintenance guidelines and cleaning instructions regularly as this is essential to ensure the quality of the coffee extracted.

Yes, it's quite normal for our coffee capsules to require a bit more effort to close in your Nespresso® machine. Our capsules are made from sustainable materials like compostable organic plants, aluminium, or food-grade plastic, which can make them slightly firmer than traditional capsules.

Rest assured, this additional pressure will not harm your machine. The capsules are designed to be compatible with Nespresso® machines and are safe to use.

Yes, this is normal and is not a sign of any damage to the machine. We aim to get a longer extraction time in order to release all the flavours and aromas of the coffee. A good extraction time for a traditional espresso style coffee is approximately 20 seconds. The coffee may drip through or extract slower than a Nespresso® pod. This is quite normal. Remember, coffee is a natural product and preparation time can vary accordingly.

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Nespresso® machine, it's essential to follow the manufacturer's recommended maintenance guidelines. Here are some key tips:

  • Regular Descaling: Descale your machine according to the manufacturer's instructions using the recommended descaling solution. This helps prevent mineral buildup and ensures optimal extraction.
  • Check and Clean the Filter Plate: Regularly inspect the filter plate for any coffee residue. If necessary, remove and clean it to prevent clogs and ensure a smooth flow of water.
  • Follow Manufacturer's Guide: Refer to the user manual for your specific Nespresso® machine model for detailed cleaning and maintenance instructions.

By following these steps, you can help maintain the efficiency and quality of your machine and enjoy delicious coffee for years to come.

While not all of our coffee is certified organic, we prioritize sourcing organic roasted coffee whenever possible. Many of our smaller coffee farms may not have the resources to obtain organic certification, but they still adhere to sustainable and organic farming practices. Additionally, we also work with larger entities that are certified organic, especially for Australian coffee, which is naturally organic but often lacks certification due to the relatively small scale of the industry.
Our decaf coffee is processed using the Swiss Water Process, a chemical-free method that removes up to 99.9% of the caffeine from the coffee beans while preserving their original flavour and aroma. This process involves soaking the coffee beans in a special water solution that naturally extracts the caffeine, leaving behind a delicious decaf coffee that's perfect for those who enjoy the taste of coffee without the caffeine.
